hello,
Your enclosure field is composed of several sub-field. If you want to edit the url sub-field of the enclosure field, enter item.enclosure.url in the "In: [XPath of the field] replace: [a regex] with: [the replacing string, $n matches the group saved in the regex, ${XPath without the initial 'item.' of a given field} matches a field of the item] [ ]g [x]s [ ]m [ ]i"

Is it possible to capture and send the contents of an RSS feed only at a specified time (e.g. once a week or month)?

For example, say I want the 10 top monthly /r/all posts from reddit sent to me, but not until the end of the month. So on the last day of the month, it would then (and only then) crawl the rss feed (http://www.reddit.com/r/all/top/.rss?sort=top&t=month) and send the contents to me.
Currently I have something like this (top 10 monthly /r/all posts), the problem is that posts are being dethroned and changing ranks all of the time, so by the end of the month the feed ends up sending me around a hundred posts rather than just the 10 that I want.
Can Yahoo Pipes can do this? I couldn't find an option for this specifically. |
